By registering as a member of Ecospirit.ca and or participating or registering for any event affiliated with Ecospirit.ca, it's partners, members or creators you acknowledge that you are participating at your own risk and assume all liability for your well being. You understand that events organzied, created or posted on or by ecospirit.ca are lead and organzied by volunteers who likely do not have any certified training or experience leading such events. You also understand that these events have an inherent risk of serious injury or death. The level of danger associated with these events is compounded by the difficulty level. You are responsible for your own safety at all times and are also tasked with the responsibility of caring for those within your group regardless your position or status within the group as an organizer or participant. You also understand that any carpooling or ridesharing is considered a part of the event and your participation in such activites is completely voluntary and at your own risk.

Evaluate your ability successfully participate in an event through the information provided in the event desciption and associated trail guides. Ask the event organizer for clarification of any details that concern you. If you are out on an event and find that it is more difficult than you had anticipated and are prepared for then STOP. You do NOT have to participate. Any participation is at your own risk. If group members or organizers attempt to encourage or otherwise convince you that you are capable of participating they do NOT assume your liability. The ultimate decision regarding participation is yours, all liability is also yours alone.
